On this page you will find an alphabetical list of hundreds of designs for dogs, cats and other wildlife creatures called Puzzimals.

What is a Puzzimal?

A Puzzimal is a wooden freestanding puzzle of an animal with its name cut into the body!

I am continually adding new breeds of dogs, cats, wild animals, fish & birds, so check back often. If you don't see what you are looking for use the contact link and make a custom request. I will try my hardest to accommodate that request.

Please note:

  • My puzzles are hand-crafted one piece at a time and delivery times will vary.
  • I do not use a laser or computer aided cutting of any type.
  • I currently require 1-2 weeks for delivery of Custom/Personalized Puzzimals.
  • In-stock puzzles have been pre-crafted and can be shipped within 24 hours of receipt of payment.
  • Current In-Stock inventory is extremely limited and changes on a daily basis.

Personalized Puzzimals are $34.95 which Includes Shipping to US Destinations.

Personalized Puzzimals can have a Childs name, a Pet's name, or a funny Name instead of the name of the animal scrolled into the puzzle.

There are a few Puzzimals that are over sized/larger than the majority of the puzzles.
These puzzimals are $29.95 Oversized will be $39.95. They will be noted whenever possible.

Looking for a puzzle not listed here. Please send me a request and I'll do my best to create a pattern for you. Depending upon complexity, the charge for this is an additional $10.00 and may take up to 2 weeks to complete.

Names in parentheses describe what name is cut into a particular Puzzimal. ie: Salmon (COHO) means that a puzzle of a salmon has been personalized to read Coho not "salmon".
Names that have (n/t or t/n) after them denote the direction the lettering is cut out of the Puzzimal Nose to tail or Tail to nose. Most Puzzimals are nose to tail lettering.

    How I create my Puzzimals!

    • I select my piece of wood, for grain and clarity of the wood.
    • I plane it to the desired thickness and joint the edges to ensure a square piece of stock.
    • I then sand it down to 220 grit for a smooth finish
    • I attach the pattern, and cut out the puzzle pieces.
    • I clean off any pattern residue and glue with mineral spirits, and give the new puzzle a final sanding.
    • I then dip each piece in Danish Tung Oil or Lemon Oil and let it cure
    • Final touch up, take a picture, inspect for any flaws, shrink wrap, and package for shipping.
